What We Offer
Based on the 2021 International Residential Code*, our Mission is to take our clients vision and provide them with a permittable drawing set, including:
- Design Summary Sheet - example shown above
- Foundation Plan
- Applicable Floor Plans
- Exterior Elevations
- Building Cross Sections
- Applicable Interior Elevations
- Roof Plan
- Framing Plan
- Details and Notes
Material Lists and Electrical Plans can also be provided, based on individual quote.
*Due to the Locality, All Plans meant to be constructed in Michigan will be designed and detailed to 2015 Michigan Residential Code Book.
Building Code
Lifetime Design Company does it's best effort to reflect the design requirements of the 2021 IRC building code upon its drawing sets. Due to varying range of requirements amongst individual municipalities and states, it is possible that information which may be needed for location dependent requirements may not be included within the provided drawing set. If this shall be the case, it's recommended for the Contactor/Owner to hire a local design professional or engineer to fulfill those gaps.
What's Not Included
Items below are not always subject for Plan Review and not included within Lifetime Design Company's Scope.
- Engineering or Architecture Stamp
- Site Plan (ask about availability to quote)
- Mechanical Drawings
- Plumbing Drawings
- Energy Calculations
- Construction Management or Oversite of the Project past the Design Phase
Some states require that a licensed architect or engineer to review and stamp plans subject to application review. If this is the case a local professional will be able to assist you.
