The first step to your future home is as easy as a few keystrokes and the click of a mouse.
Use our "Contact Us" page to email us a short summary of what you are looking for in your next project. Include type of project to be designed, approximate number of bedrooms and bathrooms or target square footage, style of choice, state to be constructed in and time frame to be designed and constructed. LDC will reply with a formal response in 24 hours to set up an Introductory Meeting.
Through either email, Microsoft Teams, in person or phone call, the Introductory Meeting main purpose is to gather as much information as possible to capture the needs and wants of your project. It's recommended that our Clients prepare for this meeting by making a list of wants and needs. Any sketches, photos or ideas organized beforehand are greatly appreciated and will help guide the designer to the Preliminary Conceptual Design. Concluding the Introductory Meeting, Lifetime Design Company will layout what will be included in its written proposal, as well as a cost estimate to perform the proposed design work.
Plan Information during the Introductory Meeting will be documented on a Pre-job Checklist, listing desired room finishes, exterior design, type of structure, foundation notes, location, room sizes, etc. These steps will aid in design schedule and better quality within the preliminary conceptual design. Floorplans and Elevations will be drafted during this phase. Conceptual Drawing will take 2-5 business days based on size and complexity. 2 hours of consultation is included within the initial project estimate.
Drafting will not begin until an accepted proposal is received.
Once Conceptual Design is submitted to the customer, both parties will schedule a review call to go over building design. Changes will be listed in drawing change request form. 1 hour of review and 1 hour of rework is included within initial project estimate.
With changes made to the conceptual drawing, Final Building Design will be submitted to the customer for approval. A Draft Drawing Set will be sent to the customer for approval. Final Payment will be due upon submission of the Draft Drawing Set. Any substantial changes after initial Conceptual Review and/or Final Building Design may incur additional fees.
Once Final Payment is Received, Lifetime Design Company will send a Single Build License and the Final Permittable Drawing Set, removing the watermark.
Customer will receive the Final Plan Documents within 2 business days of receiving final payment.
